OUR MISSION

The Motivation Foundation’s mission is to give underprivileged youth the resources and opportunity to reach their goals through the love of sports and beyond. The foundation is rooted in the belief that providing young athletes with access to career and educational support,alongside encouragement and financial provision, will help them build a framework for confidence and success on and off the field.

OUR FOUNDER

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Aqib Talib relocated to Richardson, Texas in the 8th grade and later attended Berkner High School. At a young age Aqib established his work ethic and character on and off the field, attracting recruiters from top college football programs in the country.

Aqib attended the University of Kansas where he was recognized as an All-American. During his professional career in the NFL, Aqib played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New England Patriots, and the Denver Broncos where he helped his team win Superbowl 50. Currently, Aqib is a Cornerback for the Los Angeles Rams.

Aqib founded the Motivation Foundation to give back to at-risk youth within the communities that have contributed to his growth throughout his journey to adulthood and in the NFL.
